All training sessions are run by club volunteers and take place at Hermitage Academy, Helensburgh.
New players are always welcome — whether you’ve played before or are picking up a stick for the first time.

Junior Hockey

Mondays | 18:30 – 19:30
School years P1 – S3 (ages 5–14)

Our junior section focuses on fun, skills and confidence, helping players develop in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Cost: £2 per session
No experience needed — just come along and give it a try!

Senior Hockey

Wednesdays | 20:00 – 21:30
Senior training is open to all abilities — from experienced players to those returning to hockey after years away.

Goalkeepers
We run dedicated goalkeeper coaching during Wednesday training.
Never played in goals before? No problem — we have kit you can try and coaches who will help you learn.

Gavin McWilliam
Senior Coach
Gavin joined the club as a junior back in 2005 and has played his way through the teams over the years to become one of the stand out players at the club. His background in sports science, physiotherapy and personal training make him the ideal senior coach.
Mark Findlay
Junior Coach
Mark has been with the club since he himself joined as a junior back in 2006. He has been playing league hockey for the club from the age of 13 and is now one of the top players at the club. He has ran the junior hockey club successfully for over four years now and continues to do so.
